Inner Mongolia, Mongolia representatives discuss regional cooperation

?Representatives from the cities of Tongliao, Chifeng and Xilingol League of Inner Mongolia autonomous region met with the representatives from three Mongolian aimags, or provinces: Sukhbaatar, Dornod and Khentii in the region's Xinlinhot on July 31.
Their meeting was aims to discuss the establishment of a regional cooperation mechanism.
Mongolia is the largest trading partner of Inner Mongolia, and also the main destination of the region’s foreign investment. This regional cooperation, echoing the Belt and Road Initiative, aims to further promote economic and cultural exchange between Inner Mongolia and Mongolia.

A bullet train departed Hohhot East Railway Station for Ulanqab marking the start of high-speed rail services using Inner Mongolia’s first newly-laid high-speed railway on Aug 3.
