Fires break out in Inner Mongolia

The Dong Ujimqin Banner in Inner Mongolia saw two large fires occurring, on March 29 and March 30, with the fire department of the Xilin Gol League mobilizing its armed forest forces and around 300 local firefighters, with more than 40 vehicles and fire-fighting equipment to suppress the fire. The one that started on March 29 has been put out, while firefighters are still trying to extinguish the other one.

High-speed train debuts in Inner Mongolia
A bullet train departed Hohhot East Railway Station for Ulanqab marking the start of high-speed rail services using Inner Mongolia’s first newly-laid high-speed railway on Aug 3.
