Qasar Nadam Fair in Bayannur

On Aug 29, the Second Qasar Nadam Fair was held alongside a traditional Mongolian ceremony. The events were hosted at Shad Gesumu, Urad Front Banner, Bayannur League, in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

The festival included the ceremony of Ulan Aore, traditional Mongolian sports, and various cultural performances. Among the sports events, over 200 athletes from the league took part in five contests such as horse racing and camel riding.

High-speed train debuts in Inner Mongolia
A bullet train departed Hohhot East Railway Station for Ulanqab marking the start of high-speed rail services using Inner Mongolia’s first newly-laid high-speed railway on Aug 3.
