Inner Mongolia convenes preliminary meeting of 10th Party congress

The preliminary meeting of Inner Mongolia’s 10th Party Congress convened in Hohhot on Nov 21, during which around 653 officials voted through the preparatory agendas and delegates election for the congress.

Li Jiheng, secretary of the CPC Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional Committee, presided over the meeting; Li Jia, vice secretary of the regional Party committee, reported the preparatory work of the 10th Party congress; and Liu Qifan, secretary of the CPC Inner Mongolia Commission for Discipline Inspection, announced the disciplines of the forthcoming congress and requirements for regional Party members.
 
During the meeting, Li Jiheng emphasized that under the leadership of the CPC and President Xi, the 10th regional Party congress will be a turning point for Inner Mongolia. Li stressed the election disciplines of committee members, and pointed out that the newly elected members from the regional Party committee and regional commission for discipline inspection need to shoulder their responsibilities and clarify their tasks on the development of the regional economy and society.
