A special activity connecting cultural heritage and modern life was held in Baotou, Inner Mongolia on June 11 to mark the 11th National Cultural Heritage Day.

Traditional cultural heritage performances, including the playing of horse head string instruments and Mongolian dancing, were well received by local audiences.

Nineteen craftsmen from Inner Mongolia joined the celebration, showing their skills in paper-cutting, dough sculpting, sugar sculpting, and other crafts.

Senior local officials from the government and the culture sector attended the activity.
