2017 Wuxi (Taihu) Yuantouzhu International Cherry Blossom Festival was declared open on March 16 at China’s top tourist resort for cherry trees, Yuantouzhu, or "Turtle Head Isle", located on the shores of Taihu Lake, Wuxi, Jiangsu province. The event will last until April 20.

At the main entrance leading into Yuantouzhu, or Turtle Head Isle, on Taihu Lake, organizers have hung signs to draw attention to the 2017 Wuxi (Taihu) Yuantouzhu International Cherry Blossom Festival.
