The Nantong Bureau of Land Resources in the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area has made scientific plans to ensure that land needs for major projects and resident wellbeing are met.
First, the plan hopes to attract more investment to the industrial land. Industrial projects with high investment intensity are encouraged to settle in the area.
Second, the plan hopes to make full use of land resource potential. Enterprises are encouraged to expand their manufacturing scale through equipment renewal and technology innovation instead of using more land.
Third, NETDA will build more industrial plants with more than four stories and elevators for the enterprises, improving the land use capacity.
The NETDA Free Trade Zone got the original go-ahead, on Jan 3, 2013, from the State Council, for a 5.29-sq-km area, in two parts.
