Visit Poyang Lake in winter

Poyang Lake is the largest freshwater lake in China, and Asia's biggest winter ground for migratory birds. Millions of birds migrate from Siberia in October and November annually. The splendid scenery where millions of birds gather has become one of the must-see places to visit among bird watchers and photographers.

Poyang Nature Reserve has dozens of water birds including the white crane, swan and erne. Visitors can enjoy watching millions of birds and taste delicious local food: whitebait here.
