First winter snow falls on Changchun

The city of Changchun, in Northeast China’s Jilin province, embraced the first snow of winter on Nov 12. The snow came shortly after the official start of winter on the 7th, or ‘Lidong’, which is the 19th solar term in the traditional Chinese calendar.
