The village of Songling, at the foot of Changbai Mountain, Jilin province, is appealing to visitors in a new way this season with its covering of snow and unique folk houses.
The village had roughly 60,000 people visiting it in 2014, bringing in around 2.5 million yuan, and setting an example of the province’s snow tourism possibilities with more scenic spots and popular choices for winter relaxation.
