Jilin industrial check reaches the capital

The city is in a strategic position in the Northeast Asia economic circle and has plans for 440-billion-yuan ($70.9 billion) in fixed-asset investments and 1,200 leading industrial projects this year and is promoting an upgrade of traditional services and its commercial and trade logistics.

The team paid a visit to the Jihuayuan international shopping and recreational center, Xinglong comprehensive bonded zone, Beihu Science Park, a photo-electronic industry incubation center, an underground transportation network that is green and environmentally friendly, the Jingyue modern finance city, a creative culture park, bio-science and technology enterprises, a FAW Volkswagen factory, and an automotive electronics site.
The city has a high-tech zone in its northern part for advanced equipment manufacturing, biomedicines, photo-electronics, new materials, and new energy industries that?develop rapidly, and it is promoting the development of a Changchun-Jilin-Tumen economic belt to contribute to the regional economy.
