Solar halo appears in Jilin

The city of Jilin, in Jilin province was the perfect place to view a solar halo with a circle of light around the sun, on July 15. Solar halo is something that occurs in spring or summer when the sun shines through thin and feathery ice clouds up very high in the sky.
