An economic and trade delegation from Dandong explored investment sources from Hong Kong. The delegation visited business people of all walks of life in Hong Kong and reached a tentative cooperation agreement with the Hong Kong Chinese Industry and Commerce Association.
The delegation gave a detailed introduction to Dandong's advantages in resources, transportation and geographic location. More than 20 well-known Hong Kong companies were attracted to Dandong's business projects, including suitcase production, fastener production and the infrastructure construction of Feicui Gulf.
The delegation also held discussions with entrepreneurs of various industries during its five-day stay in Hong Kong. Many enterprises wished to survey and investigate Dandong in the near future, aiming to reach investment agreements with the city.
