The 2013 International Conference on Advanced Materials was held at the Qingdao Conference and Exhibition Center on Sept 23. Twelve top scientists, including Nobel laureates, made presentations during the six-day event.

More than 2,000 participants attended the event, including 15 members of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering. The conference facilitates the development of advanced materials worldwide and brings new opportunities to Qingdao.
