Celebrations for the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Consulate General of the South Korea were held on display in Qingdao, East China’s Shandong province, at the Qingdao Grand Theater, Oct 17 -18, which included hip hop and kick boxing performances.

The consulate general has been promoting collaborations of economy, science and technology, culture and education between South Korea and China. “Compared with the very beginning when the consulate general established, the trade volume has increased by over 10 times in two decades.” said Kim Hyung Tae, consul general for South Korea in Qingdao.
