At the National Science & Technology Conference and awards ceremony, in Beijing, on Jan 18, nine scientific research results of Shanxi departments won 2012 Science & Technology awards.

Six of the nine award-winning programs were the work of enterprises cooperating with colleges and scientific research institutes. In fact, cooperation between enterprises and scientific institutes or colleges has grown significantly in recent years, along with the increased development of scientific innovation, which has meant further technological innovation and capacity development of enterprises.
