The curtain went up on the 8th Central China Exposition, on May 19, at Sanmenxia, Henan province, with 135 key tourism development projects on display.

Shanxi has already signed 10 big project deals on a natural scenic spot, integrated park construction, and cultural tourism, worth 14.95 billion yuan, with the Shanxi Cultural Tourism Industrial Fund, of the Shanxi Cultural Tourism Industrial Investment Group covering the largest amount, at 5 billion yuan in investments.

The expo covers 6 central provinces – Henan, Shanxi, Jiangsu, Hebei, Anhui, and Hunan – and is the work of the National Tourism Administration and the various provincial governments, with the purpose of promoting transformation and improvements in the various tourism industries.
