This year’s Shanxi Entrepreneurs Forum was held at Taiyuan University of Technology (TUT), in the capital of Shanxi province, on Saturday.
Lu Deming, director of the China Economic Research Center, gave a speech on economic development strategy for Chinese enterprises under the leadership of President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang.
Lu talked about major policies for political and economic development in the next five to 10 years, and economic opportunities emerging from the market and social environment.
He also gave an analysis of business opportunities and direction of economic upgrading for enterprises under the current international situation.
Lu’s speech allowed entrepreneurs to expand their business planning and offered intellectual support for the development of Shanxi.
Hosted by Liang Liping, vice-president of the university, the packed forum attracted over 350 executives from local conglomerates, banks, private enterprises and financial companies. China Railway 12th Bureau Group Co Ltd, Xishan Coal and Electricity Group, China Construction Bank, and China Merchants Bank were among the companies at the forum.
