Jincheng, North China's Shanxi province, became the first city in China to include mopeds in its public bicycle system, as 3,000 electric bicycles were put into operation in the city on Dec 14.
Jinzheng launched the public bicycle system two years ago, with 5,000 bicycles in total at the first phase. It started the second phase of the project this year, which included 3,000 new electronic bicycles and 4,500 charging posts.
