Shanxi intends to showcase its attractive investment environment, culture, and tourist attractions at the 2017 China International Fair for Investment & Trade (CIFIT) which opened in Xiamen, East China's Fujian province, on Sept 18.
The exhibition area for the province covers 170 square meters and consists of five parts, including areas for Shanxi businesses and the Shanxi Demonstration Area for Economic Transformation and Reform.
More than 20 products and services offered by 13 businesses involving new energy, artificial intelligence, folk crafts and smart city applications are on display, demonstrating the good business environment in the province.
This year's CIFIT, which is being held from Sept 18 to 21, has more than 5,000 booths in an exhibition area measuring some 12 hectares. It's expected that over 100,000 businesspeople and 4,000 businesses from 110 countries and regions will take part in the event.
