A speech competition themed around the pioneers of the new era came to a close in Taiyuan, North China’s Shanxi province, with its sixth session held on Jan 16, according to local media.
Six participants –– Han Yuhong, Zhang Xiaohong, Liu Bing, Wangxin, Ma Yike and Bai Peiyuan –– stood out in the competition.
The six-day competition, hosted by the publicity department of Taiyuan municipal committee, drew the participation of more than 100 speakers from the province. A total of 36 participants won awards for their speeches.
