Some 289 enterprises from 30 countries will exhibit emerging technologies, achievements and products through pictures, videos and physical models at the China (Taiyuan) International Energy Industry Expo, according to the expo's organizing committee.
The expo, open from Sept 16-18, is the only state-level and international exhibition in the energy sector approved by the State Council.
Covering 36,000 square meters, the exhibition areas are divided into six parts, including the energy innovation exhibition area, new energy exhibition area, international energy cooperation exhibition area, energy technology achievement trading area, smart energy exhibition area and Shanxi exhibition area.
According to the organizing committee, the smart energy exhibition area will be the highlight of the expo. More than 28 enterprises including the Shanxi International Energy Group, will exhibit their achievements in integrating the energy sector with big data technology in the area.
The progress the province has made in pushing forward the supply-side structural reforms will be displayed at the Shanxi exhibition area.
