The pavilion of Datong, Shanxi province, at the 3rd China (Shanxi) Agricultural Products Trade Expo,Oct 16-20, in Taiyuan, Shanxi.

The very first day of this year's 3rd China (Shanxi) Agricultural Products Trade Expo, Oct 16, Datong of Shanxi province has signed agreements on 16 projects, worth more than 11 billion yuan ($1.8 billion), at the coal transaction center in Taiyuan, the capital city of Shanxi.

The five-day fair has attracted 2,281 enterprises, with more than 5,500 products on display. The organizers, China's Ministry of Agriculture and the Shanxi government, arranged it under a theme of "Specialty, creativity, cooperation, and mutual benefit", with the idea of providing an investment and trade site for the province’s farm produce and to improve its competitiveness by improving its reputation.
