Brief introduction to the project: Xinwen Forest Park covers a total area of 11.8 square kilometers, with forest area of 8.6 square kilometers, reaching the forest covering rate of 72.9 percentage. It has Longnv Temple, Shangqing Temple, Yaoshen Temple and other human landscapes. It also has natural landscapes like Sheep-marks Stone and Chuanshi Cypress, other touching stories, such as “Longnv shepherd” and “Liu Yi-book”. The project plans to build Sishan Religious Culture & Leisure Area, Mountain Huang Ecological Leisure Area, Folk Scenic Park and other tourist spots.

Construction conditions of the project: Xinwen Forest Park Master Plan, Xinwen Forest Park Controlling Detail Regulation and Xinwen Forest Park Tourism Development Plan have been designed already by Shandong Province Tourism Planning and Design Institute and appraised successfully by specialists in July, 2009. The scenic spot has invested 50 million yuan in mountain entrance door construction, mountain-ringed road hardening, the ancient camp wall repair, Longfeng Scenic Park, Linglong Lake and other programs. The amount of tourists reaches to 120,000.

Analysis of the economic benefit: After the project puts into operation, it can newly increase the tourism income of 90 million yuan and profit and tax of 15 million yuan annually.
