V. Brief introduction: This project changes the traditional craft of producing propylene glycol by epoxy propane. It makes use of glycerin as raw material, to produce high purity propylene glycol after catalysis, hydrogenation and nitrogen. There’s no toxic and pollution emission during the production process. The project is built into two phases. The first phase is to build a production line toward 10,000 tons/annual propylene glycol produced by glycerol and the second phase is to build a production line toward 100,000 tons/annual propylene glycol produced by glycerol.

VI. Construction conditions: The craft of this project is mature and stable and the result is satisfactory. For the present, the equipment of 10,000 tons has been purchased and part of the equipments is being installed.

VII. Analysis of the economic benefit: After the project comes into operation, it can newly increase the sales revenue of 800 million yuan, and profit and tax of 160 million yuan annually as well.

VIII. Cooperation unit of the project: Shandong Jingdian Chemicals Comapny was established in December, 2008 with registered capital of 10 million yuan. Located in Tai’an Da Wenkou Gypsum Industrial Park, the company covers an area of 3,3000 square meters with a building area of 12,000 square meters. It mainly produces basic chemical raw material and fine chemical products as well as the sale of pesticide products.
