Fuyang Village situates in Qiujiadian County, Taishan District.

With Mount Tai at the north and Dawen River in the south, the village is full of specialties of Northern China. It is one of the four folk tourist spots entitled by the National Tourism Administration.

In September, 1982, Kyodo News Service of Japan came to the village investigated the system of contracted responsibility linking remuneration to output, which started the history of hosting foreigners.

Now more than 150 families have been up to the hosting standard. The developed projects include carrying a sedan chair, making pan-cakes, making dumplings, fishing, picnicking, going to a country fair and so on, which can ensure the tourists' interest after even eight days' visit.
