Silk Road Legend is to be aired tonight at 9 pm on CCTV-1, the Karamay Daily reported on Oct 14.
The TV series was co-produced by the Publicity Department of the Party’s Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region Committee, and China Nationality Audio-visual Publishing House. It has 30 episodes on the theme of the achievements of Xinjiang since the founding of the autonomous region 60 years ago.
The TV drama tells the story of a Uygur worker and features the harmonious relations between Han and other ethnic group people in Xinjiang.
Two episodes per day will be aired at 8 pm on CCTV-1 from Oct 15.
