Some 1,500 Toutunhe based enterprises signed an agreement with the Toutunhe district government, promising to give a priority to Xinjiang residents in job recruitment.
Xiao Qiusheng, a staff member from Xinjiang Shenzhoutong Pharmaceuticals Ltd, said that the agreement will also help enterprises in employing new staff members.
According to Chen Gong, an official from the Toutunhe district human resource and social security bureau, Toutuhe will make more efforts to improve its employment platform and help local residents find jobs.
“Toutunhe will also construct an employment training base this year to provide job training,” Chen added.
Official statistics show that approximately 21,000 job opportunities will be available in the district in 2017.
