Comment on "'Science cop' Fang Zhouzi injured in attack near home" (China Daily Website, August 29)
Five thousand years of civilization and "high" culture, and now hired thugs roam free to assault a man whose only wish is to see that only true scholars should lead and thrive, rather than, God forbid, a China humiliated and diminished by smooth-tongued self-serving fraudsters.
The police will need to do everything to ensure that the criminals face the full force of the law?-- Chinese citizens are watching and waiting to see if justice has any real meaning in China.
