Comment on "To go, or not to go to a wedding" (China Daily, Sept 13)
Boycott wedding parties to send a clear message to those couples who want to make money from long-lost friends who have no interest in their wedding in the first place. Many such stories go around of people, out of the blue, receiving wedding invitations from friends whom they had no contact with for a century! This is daylight robbery! And government officials used to inviting guests by the thousands who may not even know anyone in their family.
