Comment on "Historical values fade under fakes" (China Daily, Feb 18)

What I see now is the conflicting goals of different groups of people, without any specific department having overall control over the protection of relics.

We are losing our own culture even as we are learning from others. This is pathetic since our own culture is no less important than any other, in fact, it probably has a longer history than any other and so is more valuable. It deserves protection.
