Comment on "More male teachers needed to shape boys masculinity", (China Daily, March 12)

Many fathers are very busy supporting their families and do not have the time to be a role model for their son. Boys need male teachers to learn how to act as responsible, intelligent adults when they grow up.

Even grandfathers cannot be an alternative because they are much older and have different views and ideas that sometimes do not apply to today's world.

I hope that more men do indeed become teachers and help the young boys to be better men when they grow up.
