I definitely agree with the need for reform but it should be a triage system where highly qualified doctors are only presented with complex cases that demand their skills while initially everybody should go through their GP unless involved in a situation involving a casualty dept.

I saw a GP at my local clinic this week and was charged 10 rmb. The cost of the paperwork going through a system requiring insurance would increase that phenomenally.
