And why can't consumers be blamed for this mess? Of course they are to blame, even if they "regret" throwing away good boxes and wrappers. Why are they so stupid as to rush into a shopping frenzy triggered by hollow promises of "special discounts"? Why do they throw away good things anyway? It's not just on 11 November; and it is not just the packaging material either.
