Two South China tigers flirt with 
each other 
in the South China Tiger-Breeding Base in Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu Province, May 23, 2006. The 7-year-old male tiger mates with the 3-year-old female tiger naturally, and they were not injected with any drug to provoke their instincts, said officials in the base. The South China tiger, which could be found only in China, is listed in the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. Chinese animal breeding specialists have in the past tried a number of methods to boost numbers of animals close to extinction. [Xinhua]
