 Floodwater gushes through the sluice gates of the Danjiangkou reservoir, which is on the middle section of the south-north water transfer project, in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province, July 27, 2010. The reservoir on the Hanjiang River, a left tributary of the Yangtze River, has helped buffer the flood, which peaked July 19, when the water flow rate reached 27,500 cubic meters per second.
