An equestrian reins a horse to perform the maneuver, “Dancing Horse Catching Bowl” in Xi’an, Shaanxi province, Oct 17, 2013. The horsemanship is a revival of feats performed by court horses as seen in a drawing on a silver pot from the Tang Dynasty (AD 618 -906), unearthed in Hejia village, Xi’an city in the 1970s.
