Four 5-meter sticks were placed in front of a store to mark the upcoming Singles Day, which is Nov 11, in Jinan, East China's Shandong province, Nov 6. The sticks were made into Ruyi Jingu Bang, the poetic name of a magical weapon, an iron rod, wielded by the Monkey King in the classic Chinese novel Journey to the West.
