Twenty-five companies were honored as China's top employers by CRF Institute for their achievements in human-resources management.

The winners were chosen from 349 nominees in the fields of finance, retail, pharmacy, service, IT, chemistry, automobile and real estate, including some of the world's top 500 multinationals.

At the award ceremony, CRF CEO Steven Veenendaal, issued survey results of these enterprises. Veenendaal said some businesses have worked to improve their employees' working conditions and salaries, and promote their career development.

"But some of them didn't pass this information on to their employees," said CRF China General Manager Chen Lin. Chen said foreign-funded ventures didn't change their human-resources policies although they were influenced by the global financial crisis last year.

"As the HR market recovers, more people will be employed next year," she said.
