RSA, the Security Division of EMC, and the Chinese Institute of Electronics (CIE) Wednesday jointly announced that RSA Conference China will be held in Beijing from October 21 to 22, 2010, with the endorsement of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

Sponsored by RSA Conference and co-managed by CIE, the forum will host more than 350 attendees who will hear from 40 internationally renowned speakers as they discuss information security topics concerning cloud computing security, trusted computing, anti-fraud and compliance, and cryptography.

RSA Conference China offers a tremendous opportunity for industry professionals to follow the latest trends, receive updates on policies and regulations, and share the best practices of information security technology.

Initiated by RSA in 1991, RSA Conference is widely recognized as the most influential event focusing on information security. The conference is held annually in the US, Europe and Japan, with an agenda designed and evaluated by professionals in information security and related fields.

"As the leading provider of information security solutions, RSA has long been devoted to helping global companies tackle the most complicated and sensitive security issues," said Andy Jiang, General Manager of RSA Greater China.

"Thanks to the rapid expansion of China's information economy, RSA has enjoyed strong growth [in China] over the past 10 years. The introduction of RSA Conference China, the industry's most prestigious event, once again demonstrates our commitment to the development of China’s information security industry," Jiang added.

Liu Rulin, Vice Chairman & General Secretary of CIE said:"Today, the Internet and information technology have connected every corner of the world. I hope this forum will lead to improved academic exchanges and will play an active role in promoting the development of China's information security industry."

Wu Yafei, director of information security research at the State Information Center, added: "We are delighted that RSA Conference is coming to China. RSA Conference is a very powerful brand in international information security. We hope the launch of this forum will help accelerate the academic expertise of China's IT security."

The forum will bring together Chinese and foreign opinion leaders in the field of information security. The speakers represent top labs, academic institutes, universities, research centers, and leading enterprises from around the world.
