17 projects, with a total investment of 1.43 billion yuan ($229.9 million), were announced at the Guangxi – ASEAN Economic and Technological Development Zone on June 26.

They include 13 industrial projects, three standard workshop construction projects and one logistics project. The output value of these projects is expected to surpass 1.45 billion yuan, with annual tax revenue over 28 million yuan.

For the next step, the ASEAN Economic and Technological Development Zone will attract investment focusing on three industries, food processing, bio-pharmaceuticals and manufacturing. The development zone aims to establish an industrial cluster with close industrial linkage and aggregation effects.
