"China's Venice", Zhouzhuang, and the city of Venice in Italy, held a joint tourism promotion event, "A Tale of Two Cities", in Venice, Italy, July 21.

Zhouzhuang, a water town in Eastern China's Jiangsu province, showcased its tourism products such as traditional Chinese cakes, hand-made ship models and exquisitely wrapped souvenirs. And Venice, acclaimed as the 'City of Water', also agreed with Zhouzhuang that eco-tourism concept should be prioritized in the management of tourist attractions.

During the promotion event, Zhouzhuang and Venice reached an agreement on co-making a micro film to be titled "The Twins' Love" and shot in both cities.

Zhang Weiqing, general manager of Jiangsu Water-town Zhouzhuang Tourism Co, said at the event that Zhouzhuang is showcased in Venice for the first time. The event aims to encourage more cooperation between the two sides in the field of tourism and to further enhance Zhouzhuang's international profile.
