Wuhu's GDP in 2019 reached 361.8 billion yuan ($50.8 billion), an increase of 8.2 percent year-on-year. Fiscal revenue was 62.1 billion yuan, up 3 percent. Per capita disposable income was 34,529 yuan, up 9.8 percent.

The city held some major events related to Yangtze River Delta Integration such as a symposium of major leaders of the YRD region and the Development Conference on China Tourism Town, which promoted Wuhu as a new hotspot in the YRD region.

Administrative divisions:

The city of Wuhu has jurisdiction over four urban districts (Jinghu, Yijiang, Jiujiang and Sanshan), a county-level city (Wuwei ) and three counties（Wuhu, Fanchang and Nanling ).
