E-town holds 2016 China Semiconductor Market Annual Meeting
On March 24, 2016 the China Semiconductor Market Annual Meeting was held in E-town.
Officials from Beijing and the E-town administration attended the opening ceremony, where Huai Jinpeng, vice minister of Industry and Information technology, delivered a speech.
The government will support the development of the integrated circuit industry in four aspects: integration of industrial capital and financial capital in Internet and big data areas; development of low energy-consumption chips; innovation capability; and attracting more leading individuals to this area while improving protection of intellectual property rights.
More than 700 experts and scholars from home and abroad attended the meeting to discuss trends in development of the integrated circuit industry in China. Outstanding integrated circuit enterprises were recognized at the meeting.
