E-Town Capital attends SEMICON China 2018
Beijing E-Town International Investment and Development Co (known as E-Town Capital) recently attended SEMICON China 2018, the world's largest and most influential trade show for the semiconductor industry.
The gathering took place in Shanghai from Mar 14-16.
Established in Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (BDA), E-Town Capital is a State-owned investment and financing company with a mission to promote industrial upgrading and technological innovation in the development area.
E-Town Capital practices long-term strategic investment and supports key enterprises in the semiconductor industry. By the end of January 2018, E-Town Capital had set up more than 10 funds worth 160 billion yuan ($23 billion) in the semiconductor industry.
In addition to the exhibition, company representatives were invited to take part in a technology investment forum on Mar 15 which discussed the future direction of the integrated circuit (IC) industry. Liang Sheng, a leading BDA official gave a presentation at the forum.
