IC World to open on Oct 22

2018 International Microelectronics Symposium & IC World Conference (IC World) is to open in Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (BDA for short) on Oct 12, according to local media.
The three-day event, under the theme of “Coordinated Development of the IC Industry Chain Driven by Technology Innovation”, aims to promote the vertical integration and innovation-driven collaboration between universities, businesses, and research institutes across the IC industry in China, especially the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, in line with the national policy.
IC World will consist of two parts, academic seminars and an expo.
The expo will last for three days and the exhibition area will be about 20,000 square meters. It will boast 11 exhibition areas displaying the latest achievements in areas including integrated circuit design, manufacturing, equipment, materials, parts, manufacturing systems, factory services, packaging and testing, terminals, production, research and development.
