Shanghai Pudong Airport Expects Profit to Rise 21% for 2015

Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG) expects its net profit to rise 20.9 percent to 2.53 billion yuan in 2015 from 2.1 million yuan in 2014, according to Shanghai Airport Authority in its full-year performance forecast.
Revenue will reach 3.38 billion yuan, up 20.5 percent year on year. Basic earnings per share are estimated at 1.32 yuan, compared with 1.09 yuan a year earlier.
The airport attributes the profit growth to a large increase in its aviation business and slowdown in fuel prices.
PVG handled 60.1 million passengers in 2015, making it the second busiest Chinese airport after Beijing Capital International Airport.
