The Korean Delegation Arrived Changchun

On January, 25th, at 10:50, a number of 164 members of the Korean delegation landed safely at Changchun Longjia International Airport from the Inchon, ROK.

               

There are 70 male and 69 female athletes to participate the Changchun Asian Winter Games as well as a number of the team officials and coaches. The total number of the Korea delegation is 290 persons. They will compete in all the competition except the Free Style Skiing. As BAE ChangHwan, leader of the Korean delegation, said, they hope they will keep the good status as they were in Torino and expected to storm up to ten gold medals. He thought the short track speed skaters Jin SunYu and Ahn HyunSoo would take the responsibility to seize the medals for South Korea, but it is not easy to obtain them from China the host country.
　　
After arriving at the airport, the athletes of the Korean delegation divided into two groups and went to Changchun City and Jilin City respectively. Adding the 19 Cross-country Skiing and Alpine Skiing athletes arrived before, all the Korean delegation is now here in Changchun.
　　
Furthermore, the Korean delegation will arrange a promotion of campaign in Changchun as an attempt to bid the 2014 Winter Olympic Games.
