Freestyle skiing World Cup to be held in Changchun(Xinhua)
Updated: 2007-11-08 16:40 CHANGCHUN - The freestyle skiing competition of 2007-2008 World Cup is scheduled to be held from December 21 to 22 in Changchun City, capital of Northeast China's Jilin Province, an official said Wednesday. China Skiing Association vice president Zhao Xiaolu said that "this is the 3rd time for Changchun City to hold the freestyle skiing World Cup, athletes from over 10 countries including China, the United States and Sweden will be attracted to this game." Officials of International Skiing Association and General Administration of Sport had come to Changchun for inspecting ski-fields, hotels and hospitals this Monday, giving full affirmation to the preparing work. Zhao said that the 2006 Turin Winter Olympic Games champion Han Xiaopeng and the gold medal winner of Skiing World championship Li Nina would participated in if without suddenness. |
