Man leaves brief note to girlfriend before every theft

A 41-year-old man leaves a brief note to his girlfriend, asking her to take care of herself, every time before he goes out to commit theft, West China Metropolis Daily reported.

The suspect, alias Zhou Xu, confessed in a police interrogation that he stole valuables from luxury cars to provide for themselves, as neither one of the couple has a job.

One of Zhou's notes reads:

Pangniu (My fat lady)：

I'm going out. Grab something to eat when you get up, but do not make noise. Your mother talked about the noise last time. I will come back the moment I get money. ... Ok. I gotta go. Wish me good luck! It would be better if it could support us for one or two months.

The couple has been in a relationship for over a decade, during which Zhou went to jail for theft twice.
